Doug Still, host |
Doug is a consulting arborist and former City Forester for Providence, Rhode Island. He has been an urban forester for nearly three decades. He is Past President of the Society of Municipal Arborists, from whom he received the Award of Achievement and Life Membership.
As an arborist, Doug has witnessed the emotional bonds between people and trees. Trees create a sense of place, hold shared memories and communal meaning, and shape how we experience the world. They are living witnesses to the past. Every tree has a story. Join Doug on a walk down memory lane with This Old Tree. Together, we'll uncover the tales heritage trees have to tell! |
